Finding us, and where to park

We’re the black shopfront on Albany Highway in Victoria Park, two doors up from the laundromat. Coming from the city, the 220 stops right across the road.

There are a few bays out the front, but the quicker way in is round the back. Turn into the lane behind the shops, park in the car park there and come in our back door. If it’s shut, ring the bell.

If you’re running late, text us. More than 15 minutes behind and we’ll try to shuffle you rather than cancel.

Who’s doing your nails

Linh owns the place, and most of the BIAB is hers.

Mia does the nail art. Anything with chrome or a fine line in it is hers.

Ana does pedicures, and the Saturday hands-and-feet bookings with Linh.

A nail technician pushes back a client’s cuticles with a metal tool, beside a white nail lamp.
Who’s in which day. It changes in school holidays, so ring if you’re after someone.

Why it’s called Soak Off

Gel comes off by soaking, never with a drill on your natural nail.

That’s where the name comes from. Drilling thins the nail and you feel it for weeks.

We stopped doing acrylics in 2024, once BIAB and soft gel tips were lasting just as long.

If you’re coming in with someone else’s gel or tips, say so when you book. Taking it off properly adds 20 minutes, and we won’t rush it.

Metal tools go through the autoclave between clients. Files and buffers are one per person, and you take yours home.

What regulars say

Sample reviews. On your site, these are your real Google reviews, linked.

Sample review

“Got BIAB the week before my sister’s wedding and it’s still on three weeks later. Parking out the back is tight, go in the arvo.”

Jess, Carlisle
Sample review

“Same 112 every four weeks, Thursday after work. Hasn’t lifted once.”

Priya, Kensington
Sample review

“Booked hands and feet the day before a cruise. Linh on my hands, Ana on my toes, out in an hour and a bit.”

Questions people ask at the counter

How long does BIAB last?

Three to four weeks for most people. Book the infill at about three weeks, while it’s still sitting flat.

When should I book for Leavers?

By the end of October. The week before Leavers, in late November, is our busiest of the year.

Can I pay by card?

Yes, card or cash, and there’s no surcharge.

Do you do gift vouchers?

Yes, any amount from $30, at the counter or over the phone. They’re good for three years.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes. Under-12s can have their fingers painted for $15 on Saturdays while you’re in the chair.
